About: I am an occasional contributor to the site but a long time geek. Most weekdays I earn my crust in the Microsoft .NET world exercising my love of coding and designing. In my spare time I show and breed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Combine the two and that's how my username came to existence. Here at TechXplosion we also aim to provide some articles which will have a Software Developer's view applied.See Authors Posts (5)

Why I am almost an Android fan-boy
I am not a huge believer in statistics provided by market research firms. However, there is a recent article which mentioned something I never thought would be possible at this stage or in the near future. This is the article I was referring to, with a catchy title of "Android ... Continue Reading

BlackBerry Messenger for Android?…Wait for it…..iOS too?

About: Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated with electronics and not much has changed today. I think it was all the Science Fiction I was exposed to growing up. Over the years I have become more fascinated with mobile electronics. Some of my favorites were iPaq Pocket PC's, HP T-1100 Tablet PC, and the Motorola Star-Tac. (Good Times) I am also addicted to smartphones much to my wife and bank accounts displeasure. BlackBerry Storm 1 & 2, Tour and Bold 2 have been replaced by HTC Eris, HTC Droid Incredible, and the Samsung Vibrant. I am very excited for the Android Tablets arriving soon, especially the Galaxy Tab. I met my fellow founders of TechXplosion through a BlackBerry site with a Bad Attitude and wanting more, we created TechXplosion to cover all tech stories world wide. I hope to be posting stories and reviewing products forever as I will be a Cyborg someday........unless the Mayans turn out to be correct. :)See Authors Posts (540)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Made Official!
Why hello there ladies what do you have there? I'll answer it myself; it is the Galaxy Tab 10.1. I know what you're thinking, why the "10.1"? The "10.1" is there because the screen size has been upped from 7-inches in the original Galaxy Tab to a Xoom-Like-10.1-inches. Like the ... Continue Reading

6 Degrees of Verizon
I wouldn't normally consider a company's pricing structure to be tech news but, given the nature of technology's affect on our lives, I'll float this post and let you decide. Around noon Eastern time, U.S., AT&T sent out a tweet announcing a $30 add-on to select family plans. The new feature ... Continue Reading
